Rosemary Retreat is our private self contained B&B apartment located in a garden setting on the side of our home, Chy-an-Dowr.
We are located on the scenic Otago Peninsula halfway between Dunedin and the Royal Albatross, Yellow-eyed & little Blue Penguin Colonies Situated in Broad Bay, directly across the road from the Otago harbour and a small beach.
Rosemary Retreatis your own secluded retreat for peace and privacy with your own garden patio. You have off street parking in the garden and access through the garden to Rosemary Retreat. Rosemary Retreat apartment consists of a lounge/dining room with bed sette, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with king-size bed.
The Otago Peninsula is well known for the Royal Albatross Colony, Yellow-eyed Penguins, Little Blue Penguins, seals and sealions. There are many walkways, secluded beaches and wonderful views. A great area for walking or birdwatching.

There are several local cafés and restaurants on the Otago Peninsula. Evening dining is available at Portobello, a five minute drive from Chy-an-Dowr. Dunedin has many restaurants and is a 20 minute drive away.
There is no fuel available on the Otago Peninsula, the nearest petrol pump is Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin. Also having your own transport is advisable.
